Description

As an Operations PMO (Project Management Officer) at LightForce, you will drive our vision for growth and help us revolutionize the orthodontic profession. Working directly with our customers, technical, and management teams, you will develop tools for project governance framework and project management within LightForce. You will define, plan, and ensure all teams are executing according to plan, while proactively identifying and mitigating project risks as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Collaborating with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects.
    • Planning project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and allocating team members to various deliverables.
    • Analyzing business data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
    • Developing and providing periodic reports and status updates upstream and downstream as well.
    • Overseeing and continuously evaluating the development and progress of key strategic projects, working closely with Product, R&D, Clinical, Ops, Marketing and Sales team, and ensuring that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently, oversee any possible blockers or conflicts, while upholding the company's project management standards.
    • Developing and improving new and existing project management office policies and processes. To ensure efficient project management government in place.
    • Accurately documenting the project's creation, development, and execution as well as documenting the project's scope, budget, and justification.
    • Write projects specs, create wireframes, and perform technical analysis to evaluate project justification

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering or business administration
    • A minimum of 5 years of product/ project management experience, working with business and technical leaders

    Required Qualifications

      • Project Management proven experience in multidisciplinary environment
      • Excel in planning, demonstrated abilities for performing advanced complex project planning.
      • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
      • Excellent communication skills, with good written and verbal communication skills.
      • Demonstrated ability of building strong relationships inside and outside of an organization
      • Strategic thinker, see the “big picture”
      • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
      • Strong attention to details and technicalities.

      Preferred Qualifications

        • A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification may be advantageous.
        • A minimum of one year's experience in a supervisory position may be advantageous.
        • Ideally delivered projects in the CAD/CAM/3D Printing space or in the dental/ortho space
        • Knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies to execute and achieve desired outcomes

        Physical Demands

        • Requires the ability to use hands, and reach with hands and arms
        • Requires the ability to see, listen, and speak
        • Requires work activities with production chemicals, adhesives and epoxies, using required personal protective equipment
        • Requires walking and standing for long periods of time
