Description
LightForce is seeking a talented 3D Software Algorithms Developer to join our rapidly expanding team. As a 3D Software Algorithms Developer, you will contribute to our web-based digital treatment software, improve our high-performance geometry pipeline, and develop new internal tools and visualizations that enable a fully-digital manufacturing process.

Essential Responsibilities
- Contribute your talent for 3D CAD to improve our digital treatment platform
- Own every part of the process: from design through development, testing, and delivery
- Make informed decisions about how to integrate new hardware and better treatment strategies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on impactful engineering decisions
- Bimonthly hack-a-thons for experimentation and innovation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Have extensive experience with 3D graphics and/or visualization technologies
- Are familiar with modern web application development, APIs, and CI/CD
- Are comfortable working independently to learn about and troubleshoot issues
- Can easily collaborate with other developers on code reviews, design discussions, and feature implementation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building 3D CAD software
- Experience developing web-based frontend applications (Typescript, Three.js)
- Experience developing native applications in a C++ cmake environment
- Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud providers
- Ability to translate customer feedback into software requirements
